Luron unveils oud body mist

The product is intended for frequent, liberal application on skin to maintain a consistent scent trail, fitting current consumer habits around scent layering and all-day freshness.

KENYA – Buyline Industries Limited, through its brand Luron, has introduced an Oud Body Mist designed to elevate everyday fragrance routines with a rich, warm, and “effortlessly captivating” scent profile.

The launch positions Luron’s oud offering as an accessible, daily-wear alternative to traditional oud perfumes, aligning with growing consumer demand for lightweight, layerable body mists that can be reapplied throughout the day.

Luron frames the Oud Body Mist as a signature scent that “speaks before you do,” using fragrance as a non-verbal expression of identity and mood, while emphasizing richness and warmth in a format that is light and easy to use.

The Oud Body Mist is built around a gourmand-woody structure, with top notes of cinnamon and cassis, middle notes of clove, sugar, and maple, and base notes of vanilla glaze and amber, creating a scent that blends spicy warmth, fruity depth, and sweet, resinous comfort.

In addition, Luron describes its broader “Oud” line as mixing deep woods, warm spices, and soft flowers, with some variants highlighting saffron, nutmeg, lavender, and agarwood (oud) to reinforce an oriental-woody character.

Luron’s fine fragrance mist category currently lists six  scents, including, Obsessed, Star Boy, Vibes on Vibes, Very Vanilla, Mad Over You, and Pink Champagne.

The body mists are offered in 100 ml glass bottles, combining premium packaging with a mass-friendly format that supports frequent use and easy portability.

The launch taps into sustained demand for oud-inspired fragrances in the Middle East and Africa, where woody, spicy, and amber-forward scents remain core to both gifting and personal wear.

According to a report by Market Intelo, the Middle East & Africa (MEA) oud-inspired fragrance market is booming, valued at nearly USD 1.8–2.0 billion in 2025, with the region commanding 39.2% of global oud perfume revenues.

It is projected to grow at a CAGR of 7–8% through 2034, driven by cultural heritage, luxury demand, and Western crossover adoption.

Meanwhile, the launch comes shortly after the brand recently unveiled a new range of herbal bathing bars through its Luron brand, designed to elevate skincare routines with natural ingredients.

The collection includes three varieties: Tea Tree & Eucalyptus, Rosemary & Lavender and Citronella & Lemongrass.
