Cosmogen & Asquan supply custom dropper tube for Maria Galland Paris launch

The tube uses hybrid technology, pairing a clear applicator with a drop-by-drop dispenser.

FRANCE – Cosmogen & Asquan has supplied Maria Galland Paris with a 19 mm dropper tube featuring a ball-shaped applicator for the brand’s 382 Pure Comfort Target Pimple Corrector.

The tube comes in three applicator styles: a precision tip for targeted use, a ball for circular massaging, and a dome for reaching difficult areas.

“The range meets the evolving needs of skin care and dermocosmetic applications,” Cosmogen & Asquan says, adding that the system works with many textures, serums, gels, oils, and creams, across cleansing, treatment, and protection products.

The Dropper Tube is offered in monomaterial, ethylene-vinyl alcohol co-extrusion, or Alu-Multifoil constructions.

For a higher-end finish, the company can pair the tube with an aluminium tip and sleeve.

Rising regulation, changing consumer expectations, and more complex formulations are pushing beauty and personal-care packaging toward solutions that marry sustainability with performance.

Packaging Insights recently spoke with Segede, Sidel, and Silgan about trends such as dose-precise applicators, designed to cut waste and deliver targeted experiences.

Last month, Cosmogen acquired Asquan, a premium personal-care packager with bases in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, to broaden its global footprint.

The combined Cosmogen & Asquan Group expects about USD 50 million in revenue and counts clients including LVMH, L’Oréal, Clarins, Huda Beauty, and Shiseido.

Industry analysts interviewed by Packaging Insights, including experts from Rabobank Packaging and Logistics, say the sector is moving into a post-mega-merger phase characterized by consolidation, a prolonged downturn, and heightened geopolitical risk.

Meanwhile, Cosmogen has rolled out a series of product updates and launches aimed at convenience, recyclability, and premium design.

In addition, Cosmogen recently broadened its sustainability-focused personal care portfolio with new recyclable PET applicator formats and additions to its Ecoline eco‑design range.

Cosmogen has extended its Glossy Lip Tube platform with the Glossy Lip Tube Slanted, a transparent lipstick holder that sits alongside the existing Glossy Lip Tube Rounded.

The company describes the transparent PET format as “colour-dedicated,” allowing consumers to see the true shade of the formula inside while reinforcing a premium, easy‑to‑use experience for everyday and travel‑oriented use.

The slanted, scooped applicator tip is engineered to closely follow the contours of the lips, delivering controlled and smooth application that Cosmetic and personal care marketers can leverage in “precision colour” or “clean‑makeup” positioning.
